In my experience, this puts it in the top 25% of non-fiction in terms of how bloated it is.
Not sure in which direction you mean, but if it's that the book is barely bloated, I agree. Most are just a short essay blown up into a book, and should be 5% of the size.
This is exactly what I mean. Far too many non-fiction books should really be a few chapters long, so 50 pages too long sounds pretty great!
